Photography, Nature & Design have always interested me
and the three of them came together when my wife and I created a backyard
oasis that changed from season to season.
Our first home was in Bartlett, IL unassuming from the street, the
backyard was
elaborate with two Koi ponds, a beautiful in-ground pool and serene gazebo to
relax under
after a long, hectic day.
The
environment we created was just right to spawn baby Koi, but winter was
approaching. We were concerned that the small fry wouldn't survive the
harsh
chill of winter so we brought them inside.
Only one fry survived
life inside the fish tank until spring, we named him Tiny.
